sustainable development Annual Meeting
Respectful environment-protecting associations from all colleges and universities,
The third annual meeting of sustainable development of Chinese non-governmental environment-protecting organization (annual meeting for short in the following), hosted by All-China Environment Federation(ACEF), cooperated by China Environmental Protection Foundation(CEPF), China Association for NGO Cooperation (CANGO), and Green Society Environmental Action Network  (GSEAN), is to be held on October 30th and 31st , 2008 in Beijing.
“Implementing public participation and promoting the low-carbon economy” is this meeting’s theme, which includes five special topics, i.e., Climate changes and sustainable development, The capacity-building of environmental protection NGOs, The development of environment-protecting associations in Universities, Environmental protection and public participation, The international intercommunion and cooperation of environmental protection NGOs.
GSEAN undertakes the organization and actualization of the development of environment-protecting associations in universities and is in charge of the selection and recommendation of student representatives. Now GSEAN is sending out invitations to all environment-protecting associations in universities, youth environment-protecting associations and related institutions throughout China.
Arrangements:
Registering Time: On Oct. 29th, 2008, whole day available, for delegates NOT from Beijing,
               On Oct. 30th, 2008, at 07：30―08：30, for delegates from Beijing.
Registering Place: On Oct. 29th, at Lanxi Hotel, Sino-Japan Friendship Center for Environmental Protection (SEPA),
               On Oct. 30th, at Sino-Japan Friendship Center for Environmental Protection (SEPA).
Notes:
1.    Only one participant in each association or organization is allowed to the meeting. Please submit: ① Resume (check the appendix in the following) of the participant; ② Related materials (unlimited of formation) on the subject of Energy conservation and pollution reduction.
2.    The round trip expenses of the student representatives will be reimbursed by the group of annual meeting. The accommodation and meal during the annual meeting will be well arranged by the group.
3.    Each association applying to this annual meeting should well prepare the application material and the information about the representative participant, which must be submitted before Oct. 8th, 2008, otherwise it will be considered as a waiver.
4.    After receiving the name list confirmed by ACEF, GSEAN will contact with all related representatives and send out to each with Letter of Invitation, which should be carried to the annual meeting when attending.

6.    Attention: Several associations have been disqualified from attendance to the annual meeting due to bad credit standing caused by NOT mailing back the expense-account after participating in the annual meeting last year (considering their reputation the names of these associations are not publicized).

各高校环保社团：
由中华环保联合会主办，中华环保联合会、中华环保基金会、中国民间组织合作促进会、济溪环境交流网络等单位联合承办的第三届中华环保民间组织可持续发展年会（以下简称“年会”）将在于2008年10月30、31日在北京举行。
本届年会的主题是：“实行公众参与、促进低碳经济”。下设五个专题，分别为：气候变化与可持续发展，环保NGO能力建设，高校环保社团的发展，环境保护与公众参与，环保民间组织国际交流与合作。
其中济溪环境交流网络（以下简称“济溪”）承办高校环保社团的发展的组织实施工作，并负责学生代表的选拔推荐工作。现向全国各高校社团、青年环保组织及相关单位发出参会邀请。

相关注意事项
1、每个社团、组织仅可选派一人参会。并提交相关人员档案资料（简历填写见附录）及节能减排活动的相关资料（形式不限）。
2、年会向学生代表报销往返路费，会议期间食宿由大会统一安排。
3、各申请社团请提前准备好申请资料和选派人员资料，务必于2008年10月08日前一并提交。过期视为自动弃权。
4、济溪获得联合会选定代表名单后，将会与相关代表联系，并发送邀请函。代表请携带邀请函前来参会。

    自2004年12月，济溪环境交流网络(GSEAN )开始为以青年和学生为主的环境公益行动者提供信息交流和学习平台，关注国内外环境保护事件，通过信息的分享和传播让更多人了解参与环境保护的方法和途径，为青年人环保社团提供发展成长的在线社区。从最初单独的论坛交流形式，济溪逐步成为包含网站、论坛、博客等组成的一个综合性交流网络，并建立了在线会议室、在线大讲堂、在线调查分析支撑系统，正逐步发展成为一个综合性、互动性的环境活动信息库。
